Recommended SEO Practices

Creating useful, reliable, people-first content is one of the fundamental pillars of SEO according to Google. Content should be created primarily for users, not for search engines. Google values pages that provide a satisfying visitor experience and offer useful, accurate and original information. When content is developed around real user needs, it is naturally better positioned to perform well in search.

Titles, meta descriptions and headings

Page titles play an important role in search optimization. A well-written title should accurately describe the page and use relevant terms naturally. Google may show titles in search results, and they influence whether users decide to click. Meta descriptions are not a direct ranking factor, but they can affect click-through behavior by summarizing a page and helping users understand what they will find.

Heading structure — H1, H2, H3 and so on — also helps organize content hierarchically. This improves readability for users and gives search systems clearer structure. The H1 should normally express the page's main topic, while subsequent headings should organize sections and subsections logically.

Mobile optimization

Mobile optimization is essential. Google uses mobile-first indexing, meaning the mobile version of a site is the primary version considered for indexing. A responsive site that adapts to different screen sizes and provides a strong mobile experience is better prepared for search and for users.

Loading speed

Page loading speed contributes to user experience and can affect search performance. Image weight, script volume, hosting infrastructure and code optimization all influence speed. Tools such as PageSpeed Insights can help evaluate pages and identify opportunities for improvement.

Core Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals are metrics designed to evaluate important aspects of real-world user experience, including loading, responsiveness and visual stability. They provide a useful framework for identifying pages that feel slow, unstable or unresponsive and for prioritizing improvements that benefit visitors.

Structured data

Structured data can help Google understand and present certain types of content in search results. It is code added to HTML to describe content such as products, articles, events and other supported entities. When the markup is valid and the page meets Google's requirements, it may become eligible for rich result formats with additional information.

Quality content

Quality content is central to sustainable SEO. Useful, relevant and original information should be well written, accurate and maintained when facts change. Depth matters when it serves the user's need; completeness is valuable when it adds real understanding rather than unnecessary volume.

Search intent should guide content creation. That means understanding what people are actually trying to accomplish when they search and producing information that addresses that need clearly. Search systems have become increasingly capable of interpreting intent, which makes direct and useful answers more important than mechanical keyword repetition.
